Subject: Public Access, Open Space Fund
Councilman Onishi,
As a citizen of Hawaii County, I realize that our County is in a Financial crisis and the
importance of balancing out County Budget.
I am aware that the voters did vote on this issue with good intentions but I can not see
more cuts from our County Departments or the possibility of furloughs of County
workers.
Therefore, I am in support of the Mayor using the Public Access Open Space Fund over
the next two years to help balance our budget and encourage our County Council to
support Mayor Kenoi's request on this issue.
