It is the right of the people to determine their own thresholds. This bill greatly
infringes on the ability of a community to establish its own conscience. In order to
mature as a society we need to have bills such as this done away with. As a farmer, it is
frightening to imagine I could have no legal recourse against cross pollination by mutagen
plant tests, and not just on a personal level. The legislative hand tying this bill
proposes sets a precedent which can only serve to further silence any outcry from a
weakened populace.
