Aloha Honorable County Council:
I support the resolution opposing HB 1226.
Bill HB 1226 is not the voice of the people of Hawaii. Our County Council is our voice to protect the
people and lands of the Hawaii islands. This Bill FIB 1226 is heavy-handed, undemocratic and is
dangerous. No bill has the right to take our voice lightly. I am disappointed that our State
Representatives would vote for this bill. We the people do have a SAY when our lands, health, and
rights are being jeopardized!
