RESOLUTION NO. ]L24 09
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Ka`u Rural Health Community Association (KRHCA), a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization, strive to educate all ages of the public on health and safety issues; and
WHEREAS, among the many programs sponsored and hosted by KRHCA are ones that
serve to educate young men and women for careers in roles for public and private health care
services; and
WHEREAS, critical to achieving these goals is connectivity to the world of information
and wealth of remote educational programs available via the Internet; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from council district 6 will be appropriated to the
Civil Defense Agency to help fund the Ka`u Rural Health Community Association's web and
video connectivity; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $1,308
CREDITED TO:
010.241.5241.02 Civil Defense Agency $1,308
Civil Defense AGC OCE, Misc. Contract Services
(KRHCA/web and video connectivity)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Civil Defense Administrator and to the Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is herby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
