The following is a list of bills and reports that have either been deferred at Council level or
referred to another Department for action. These referrals, however, have not resulted in any
action, and have remained at Council level ever since.
I am forwarding these items to you with a recommendation that they be filed, as there has been
no action taken on these matters with none forthcoming. Please note that these are all matters
that originated from previous Council terms.

1. Bill 493: Initiates a charter amendment allowing the Hawaii County Council to
(1991) execute contracts for services necessary to the Council's Public Policy Formulation
Role.

other details of such bonds and providing for their sale; and authorizing the issuance
and sale of a like principal amount of general obligation bond anticipation notes in
anticipation of the issuance and sale of such bonds and appropriating funds for the
costs of issuance of such bonds.
