A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, athletics have proven to be among the best outlets for promoting health and
socialization for youth in our island communities; and
WHEREAS, critical to achieving these goals is access to functional and safely designed
equipment; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks & Recreation to help purchase new volleyball equipment for the
Pi`ihonua gymnasium; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Parks and Recreation Director and to the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is herby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
