RESOLUTION NO. 152 U9
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Office of Aging strives to promote socialization and
active living among older individuals; and
WHEREAS, the month of May is designated as Older Americans Month across our
nation as a time to acknowledge the contributions of past and current older individuals; and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Office of Aging sponsors an annual recognition
ceremony that honors many of our senior citizens; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to
the Office of Aging to help fund transportation for the Senior Citizens of rural Ka`n to participate
in the Older Americans Month Recognition and Awards Ceremony; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII
that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $800
CREDITED TO:
010.411.5411.02 Office of Aging $800
Office of Aging OCE, Misc. Charges
(Transportation for the Senior Citizens of Ka`u)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the County Executive on Aging and to the Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is herby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
