RESOLUTION NO. 119 09

A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the Laupahoehoe Swimming Pool was closed to the Public and a major
renovation began on August 11, 2008; and
WHEREAS, the facility's locker room, pool deck, office,•and pool basin were
completely renovated and refurbished, the roof of the building was replaced, and the pump room
was given a partial renovation; and
WHEREAS, new lane lines were not included in the renovation which is scheduled to be
completed and the pool reopened in late April or early May of 2009; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief Funds from Council District 1 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for purchase of new lane lines to be installed at
Laupahoehoe Swimming Pool; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set for the below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $5,000
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5513.66 Parks and Recreation $5,000

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
