COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br />RESOLUTION NO. 154 09 <br />A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT <br />AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A <br />DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) <br />WHEREAS, our Kupuna deserve fair and equal access to basic support services; and <br />WHEREAS, the county did design and begin construction of a Senior Center in <br />Mountain View of which only the first stage, adouble-wide portable room has been realized; and <br />WHEREAS, this structure stands far from the nearest water, restroom and kitchen <br />facilities which are located across an open parking lot at the Mountain View Gymnasium; and <br />WHEREAS, in the recent past the Senior Center in Mountain View has had numerous <br />incidents of breaking and entering, property damage and vandalism; and <br />WHEREAS, locking cabinets within the Senior Center will secure personal items when <br />visiting the kitchen and restroom facilities and water dispensers will facilitate better use of the <br />the Senior Center building, saving many roundtrips of carrying water; and <br />WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to <br />the Department of Parks & Recreation to purchase locking cabinets and water dispensers for the <br />Mountain View Senior Center; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br />that the following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below: <br />FUND: General <br />AMOUNT OF <br />APPROPRIATION: $1,000 <br />OUT AND FROM: <br />010.101.5101.9] Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $1,000 <br />CREDITED TO: <br />010.500.5519.72 Department of Parks & Recreation $1,000 <br />EAD Recreation OCE, Misc.
