Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance appropriating the first increment of the fuel tax increase
established by Resolution No. 504-08. Projected revenues are being allocated based on
each district's percent of miles of local streets, for all roads maintained by the County.
Below is the breakdown of the programs:

Roadway Projects (Engineering) $2,000,000
Bridge Inspection, Repair, & Replacement, 1,000,000
Program (Engineering)
ADA Curb Cut & Accessible Route Program 500,000
(Engineering)
Local Road Improvements (Highways) 3,500,000

The specific projects are listed on Exhibit A of the bill.

A. REQUEST:
Allocation of the first increment of fuel tax revenues established by Resolution 504-08. See attached Exhibit
A, "Fuel Tax Program Revenue Appropriation Increment 12008-2010."
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
Allocation is based on each district's percent of miles of local streets for all roads maintained by the County.
Estimated fuel tax revenues for 2008-2010 is $7.0 million.
