Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 36, Draft 2
Below for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 36, Draft 2, regarding the
operating budget. This proposed amendment would increase General Fund Revenues-Fund Bal
From Prev Year by $73,115 and increases Expenditure Election Division S&W by $39,026,
Election Division S&W Overtime by $7,500, Health Benefits by $16,250, Retirement Benefits
by $6,979 and Employer FICA by $3,360. The appropriation will be used for additional cost
required in preparation for the publicly financed Hawaii County Council elections (Act 244).
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the revenue account(s) and expenditure
account(s) are reflected below:
