DEPARTMENT OF WATER SUPPLY TO ENFORCE COLLECTION OF
SEWER USER FEES, AND AMENDING CHAPTER 21, ARTICLE 4,
SECTION 21-32, HAWAII COUNTY CODE (1995 EDITION) BY
ADDING A NEW SUBSECTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CHIEF ENGINEER
TO ORDER THE SHUTOFF OF WATER SERVICE TO ENFORCE
COLLECTION OF SEWER USER FEES AND PROVIDING FOR
ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW OF SAID ORDER

RECENT FIRE DEPARTMENT PLACEMENT EXAM
Copy of letter to Fire Chief Nelson Tsuji, from Finance
Committee Chair Aaron Chung, dated June 4, 1997,
requesting his attendance and those involved in the
administering of a recent Fire Department placement
exam, where improprieties alledgedly took place, at the
Finance Committee meeting on June 17, 1997, to provide
committee members an opportunity to hear information of
same.

Finance Committee Chair Aaron Chung, dated June 4,
1997, requesting his presence at the Finance Committee
meeting on June 17, 1997, regarding alleged
improprieties in a recent Fire Department placement
exam.
Comm. 346.02: Copy of letter to Mr. Richard Perry, Hawaii Fire
Fighters Association, from Finance Committee Chair
Aaron Chung, dated June 4, 1997, requesting his
presence, or that of a union representative, at the
Finance Committee meeting on June 17, 1997, to discuss
a recent Fire Department placement eaam where
improprieties allegedly took place.
Comm. 348: RENEWAL OF CONTRACT FOR LIGHT POST PRODUCTION COMPANY
TO VIDEOTAPE COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
From Finance Committee Chair Aaron Chung, and
Councilmember J. Curtis Tyler, dated June 4, 1997,
requesting that Contract No. 96199, which provides for
the professional services of Mr. George Andrews Downing
in the videotaping of Council proceedings, be
reinstated. Mr. Downinq's contract was suspended due
to the recent Supreme Court privatization ruling.
