Re: Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd
Dear Council Members:
I am writing in support of the nomination of Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd to the position of
planning Director. 1 have worked with Ms. Leithead-Todd in her capacity as Deputy
Corporation Counsel.
Most recently, I was a hearing officer in a contested case hearing before the Planning
Commission. Ms. Leithead=fodd represented the County of Hawaii in the proceeding. I was
impressed not only by Ms. Leithead-Todd's legal skill and knowledge of the subject matter of the
case, but also by her patience, efficiency, and commitment. She showed good common sense
and judgment.
I have no doubt that Ms. Leithead-Todd will do an excellent job if she is confirmed as the
Planning Director for the County of Hawaii.
