Re: Resolution No. 88-09 - Paving of Saddle Road
Dear County Council:
I am writing on behalf of the Waiki'i Ranch Homeowners' Association and in support of
Resolution No. 88-09.
Waiki'i Ranch is a 3,000-acre subdivision consisting of 128 lots. There are currently
approximately 40 families in full-time residence in this subdivision. Most of these
families include one to three members who commute daily to Waimea or Kona over the
lower portion of Saddle Road between Route 190 and mile marker 46.
The condition of this portion of Saddle Road has deteriorated dramatically in recent
months and is currently unsafe. I strongly recommend the passing of Resolution No. 88-
09.
