Subject: BILL 345 OUNTv N,A4iiiOqi
To our elected representatives who will be voting on Bill 345, publicly funded
elections. The difference between a Fascist government and a Democratic
government, is that a Fascist government represents special interests and a
Democratic government represents the will of the people. Publicly funded
campaigns will free up our politicians from having to take special interest money
to help them with their campaigns for office. If the public funds their campaigns,
they don't have to represent the special interests and can do what's best for the
people of Hawaii instead. We are usually unaware that out government is
becoming Fascist until we find it working against "We the people" who elected them,
and instead, work for special interests, who's only motive is to profit financially by
using them. Judging by all the development going on, which is overburdening our
schools, fire departments, police, roads, our way of life and environment, it appears
that Fascism is winning and Democracy is loosing. Which side are you going to
represent and how will you justify your vote when it comes election time.
