A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND
FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, Kua O Ka La Public School's Grad Night is a drug- and alcohol-free event where
graduating seniors can safely celebrate with their friends, family and invited community members in a
positive and healthy environment; and
WHEREAS, in addition to providing meals and refreshments, this event also provides fun and
exciting activities such as games, dancing, and entertainment; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to the
Department of Liquor Control to help defray some of the cost associated with Kua O Ka La Public
School's Grad Night; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred appropriated as set forth below:

APPROPRIATION: $2,000
OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $2,000
CREDITED TO:
010.251.5251.39 Department of Liquor Control $2,000
Public Programs, Misc. Contract Services
(Kua O Ka La Public Charter School's Grad
Night 2009)
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Liquor Control and the Director of Finance and that the Director of
Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this
resolution.
