SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY, FROM TERMINUS OF STATE HIGHWAY TO
A POINT FIVE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED FEET IN THE SOUTHERLY
DIRECTION
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 1 (Speed Limits),
Section 24-255, Schedule 3 (25 mile per hour limit), paragraph (f) Kona be amended by
revising existing item:
(9) Mamalahoa Highway, from the terminus of the State Highway in Honalo to a
point FIVE thousand one hundred feet in THE southerly direction.
This amendment is necessary to update the Hawaii County Code to match field
conditions.
