Dear Chairman Yoshimoto and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate the following individuals to the Hawai'i County Leeward Planning
Commission:
Wayne K. lokepa from North Kohala is a life-long resident of Hawai'i. He is a Technical
Operations Manager with Oceanic Time Warner Cable, where he has been employed since
1985. Mr. lokepa is the President of the Royal Order of Kamehameha, Kona. He states that he
is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed he will serve a four-year term to end on
April 1, 2013, and be eligible for reappointment for an additional year
Brandi K. Beaudet from South Kohala is a life-long resident of Hawai'i. He is presently the
Land Resource Manager of Parker Ranch, Inc., where he has been employed since 2000.
Mr. Beaudet is a member of the Ulumau Leadership Series and the Hawai'i Leeward Planning
Conference. He is also a board member of the Hawai'i Wild Fire Management Organization and
supervisor of the Kohala Watershed Partnership. Mr. Beaudet states that he is not affiliated
with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a two-year term to end on April 1, 2011, and
be eligible for reappointment for an additional three years.
