These funds, to be used to cover the costs for additional training, increase the total appropriation for this fiscal year from $18,570 to $32,570. Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the additional funds into the Traffic Investigation Program account. Because we are close to the end of the fiscal year, we would like to request a waiver from the Finance Committee and have this bill heard at the next Council meeting scheduled for June 2, 2009.
