Re: Operating Budget
0
The State Department of Transportation Public Affairs - Safe Community Program4~
providing an additional funding of $14,000 to the Hawai'i County Police Department's
Traffic Investigation Program. These funds, to be used to cover the costs for additional
training, increase the total appropriation for this fiscal year from $18,570 to $32,570.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
additional funds into the Traffic Investigation Program account.
Because we are close to the end of the fiscal year, we would like to request a waiver from
the Finance Committee and have this bill heard at the next Council meeting scheduled for
June 2, 2009.
If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Hawai'i County Police
Department.
