Subject: Proposed Amendment to Bill 36, Draft 3
Below for your consideration is a proposed amendment to Bill 36, Draft 3, regarding the
operating budget. This proposed amendment would decrease the General Fund Expenditure
Transfer to Post-employment Benefits by $4,500,000 and decrease General Fund Revenue in the
Sale of Real Property account associated with the sale of the Hamakua Lands by the same
amount. The reduction in revenue and expense will be used to save a portion of the Hamakua
lands.
The following amendment affecting appropriation(s) to the revenue account(s) and expenditure
account(s) are reflected below:
