9. CAPITAL PROJECT EUGIBIUTY (Ust Criteria): Development of new park on existing land in neighborhood without any recreaational facilities. Park has been planned for over 30 years.
10. PROJECT/PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Park land has been available for over 30 years. Park needs playground equipment, comfort station, pavilions for eating and rest, senior activities, parking, etc.
11. PROJECT JUSTIFICATION & OUTCOME(S) (Ust all that apply): No other community parks exist in the nearby areas. Playground equipment, pavilions, picnic areas, and parking are needed for community.
12. LONG RANGE PLANS/COMMUNITY VALUES: Supports the Kona Community Development Plan to provide neighborhood parks in large subdivisions, provides play opportunities for children
and adults.
