Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 79-09, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 79-09, transmitted by Deputy County Clerk Rodney Oshiro, via Communication No. 217,
dated March 25, 2009, authorizes the Mayor to enter into a multi-year lease agreement for a color copy
machine for the Office of the County Clerk-Reprographic Division. The terms of the lease agreement will
be for five (5) years with an approximate cost per month of $1,319.59.
Pursuant to Section 10-11, Hawaii County Charter, any contract, lease or other obligation requiring
payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year must be approved by resolution.
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 79-09, and
recommends its adoption.
