RESOLUTION NO. 196 ®9
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S).
WHEREAS, the residents of District 5 actively use the numerous Parks and Recreation
amenities on a daily basis; and
WHEREAS, the County facilities range in activities requiring various types of
equipment, maintenance and repair; and
WHEREAS, these needed contingency funds will enhance the ability of the general
public to safely enjoy and regularly use County recreational areas; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is supportive in maintaining safe
facilities for all park users; and
WHEREAS, the community will fully benefit from acquiring the various projects needed
in District 5; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 5 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation for park improvements in Council District 5; now,
therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

CREDITED TO:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
