Subject: Support Resolution 106-Protect Hawai'I's impt lands
Importance: High
Aloha, Council members:
As i've stated many times recently throughout the 2% open space process and its possible disemboweling by this Council, the people and
resources of this island deserve meaningful protection from overdevelopment. The 2% land fund is one critical way to balance the desires
of developers with the needs of a burgeoning island population whose quality of life depends upon natural and cultural resource protection.
I urge you to approve acquisition of Kaiholena, Pao'o, and Puapua'a as per recommendations by the Open Space Commission.
Mhaalo for doing what's right for the people and 'aina.
Sincerely,
Janice Palma-Glennie
