Subject: Protect the Kohala Coast
Aloha,
I am a North Kohala resident, and am writing to support the use of Open Space Funds to acquire the
lands for sale, Pao'o and Kaiholena. These parcels have many archeological sites upon them that are
important to the ancient Hawaiians as well as being open space along our North Kohala Coast. Please
vote to secure these lands so that they will be preserved for generations to come. We do not want
another of our coastlines to become a string of large mansions with no community access. Protect the
Kohala Coast.
