HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1905-007County of Hawaii, Territory of Hawaii Ordinance No. 7 Claims against the County of Ha- waii for salaries as fixed by Statute shall be written upon the Yorms or blanks for that purpose in the same manner as other claims, except as otherwise provided in this Ordinance. Such claims shall be filed in the of- fice of the County Clerk on the first Tuesday of each month, or as soon thereafter as mail may reach the County Seat in its usual course; they may not be sworn to or otherwise certified, as they are fixed by statute. Immediately, upon filing the County Clerk shall certify the claim to the County Auditor, noting thereon this Ordinance in lieu of action 6y the Board of Supervisors substantially as follows: "Allowed by the Board of Super- xisors as per Ordinance No.-_.....___..._. ..__...._......-_....._-......_-._...__.-_-_...1905. for $_....._.....-payable from _..._______......__. --~~~---.." When so certified the Coun- ty Auditor shall issue a warrant upon the general fund in the Treasury for payment. Other claims for salaries not so fix- ed by statute shall be held for exam- ination and allowance by the Board of Supervisors in the same manner as other general claims, and shall be certified by the Superior officer under whose charge the claimant has rend- ered the services "and shall also be duly sworn to by the claimant as provided in Ordinance No. 6. D. 1905, and upon being put to vote said Ordinance was adopted by a majority of the Sup- ervisors at said meeting.
