It shall be unlawful for any person to draw, drag, push or otherwise transport any lumber or combinat_on oY lumber and other things, any flume, plow, harrow, cul- tivator ar other agricultural implement or other machine or part of machine upon or across any public road or high- way within the County of Hawaii in such manner that such drawing, drag- ging, pushing or transportation shall in any manner scratch, mar, excavate or dzmage any portion of such road or highway. Section 2. It shall be unlawful for any person owning, working upon, driving, propelling or in charge of any wagon, cart or other wheeled convey- ance to permit the pole, Whipple tree, swing bar or any other portion of, or any part of the contents of any such cart, wagon or other wheeled convey- ance excepting the wheels to touch, drag or come in contact with any por- tion of such highway or road in such manner as to scratch, mar or excava.t_ tiie road or public highway. Section 3. Whoever shall violate any of the provisions of this ordin- ance shall be fined a sum not excoed- ing One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) in the discretion of the Magistrate cr Court having jurisdiction thereof.
