Communication 642 and Bill 182, reports as follows:
13i11 182, transmitted via Communication No. 642 from Director of Finance Nancy E. Crawford.
dated December 2, 2009. amends Chapter 24. Article 7, Section 24 -167 of the Hawai' i County
Code (2005 edition. as amended), relating to the operation of vehicles.
In Rees was the only testifier and he spoke in opposition. He stated the language referring to
vehicular "draw bar' is good but he feels this legislation should he applied to a new or different
area of the County Code.
There was no discussion by your Committee.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Bill No. 182. and recommends passage on first reading.
