HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1912-048County of Hawaii, Territory of Hawaii Ordinance No. 48 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ROAPQING OR GRAZING OF HOR- SES, MULES, CATTLE, DONKEYS, SWINE, SHEEP, AND GOATS UP- ON PUBLIC PLACES. Be it ordained by the Board of Sup- ervisors of the County of Hawaii: Section 1. That it shall be unlaw- ful for any person to knowingly allow any horse, mule, cattle, donkey, swine. sheep or goat belonging to him or df- rectly or indirectly under his contre] to roam or graze in or upon any pub- lic street, road, lane or alley, or in or upon any public lands in the County of Hawaii. Section 2. That it shall be the duty of the Sheriff of the County of Hawaii his deputy and all police officers to cause the arrest of any and all per- sons violating the provisions of Sec- tion 1 of this ordinance. Section 3. Any person or persons who shall violate the provisions of Section 1 of this ordinance shall pe guilty of a misdemeanor and upon con- viction thereof shall be fined not more than Ten ($10.00) Dollars for the first offense and not less than Ten ($10-001 Dollars and not more than One Hun- dred ($100.00) Dollars for each scb- sequent offense. Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect from and after the date cf its approval. Introduced by: E. H. AUSTIN, Supervisor. Date of introductidn: The 16th day of December, 1912.
