AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE
SCATTERING, THROWING, DROP-
PING, DEPOSITING, AND PLAC•
ING OF RUBBISH, DEBRIS AND
OTHER MATERIALS ON HIGH-
WAYS, STREET`S, ROADS, AL•
LEY-S. SIDEWALKS, SEA BEACH-
ES OR OTHER PUBLIC PLACE9
1N THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
Be it ordained by the Board of Sup-
ervisors of the County of Hawaii:-
Section 1. It shad be unlawful for
any person to wilfully ecattsr, throw,
drop, deposit,. or p1ACe, or cause to be
scattered, thrown, dropped, deposited
or placed on any highway, street,
road, ally, lane, sidewalk, sea beach
or other public place iu the County
of Hawaii, Territory oY Hawait, any
glass, glass bottle, tin can, nail, tack,
w1re, piece oP metal, atone, paper;
fruit peeling, rag, wood, straw, hay,
or aw2eping or any rubbish or debris
of any kind whatsoever or any thing
or substance dangerous to traffic.
Section 2. Any person who shall
violate any of the provisions oY this
Ordinance shall be deemed gu[lty of
a misdemeanor, and upon conviction
thereof shall be punished by a fine of
not less than $3.00, nor more than
$250.00.
Section 3. This Ordinance shalt
take effect fifteen days from and after
the date of its approval.
