An Ordinance Regulating the Sale
~, or the Purchase of Firearms in
the County of Hawaii:
Be it Ordained by the Board oY Su-
pervisors oY the County of Hawaii:
Section 1. Sale or Purchase oY
Firearms. It shall be unlawful Yor
any person, firm, co-partnership or
corporation [o sell firearms or cart-
ridges to any person who has not a
permit from the Sheriff of the County
of Hawaii or any of his deputies to
purchase the same. It shall be un-
lawful for any person to purchase
firearms or cartridges without Yira[
obtaining a permit from the Sheriff
of the County oP Hawaii or any of
hie deputies so to do.
Section 2. Punishment. Any per-
son, firm co-partnership or corpora-
tion violating the provisions of this
Ordinance shall, upon conviction
thereof, be punished by fine oY not
more than $200.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall
take effect thirty days from and after
the date of its approval.
