Ordinance No. 83
AN ORDINANCE RELATIVE TO
THE ISSUANCE OF PERMITS TO
CARRY FIREARMS WITHIN
THE COUNTY OF HAWAH.
BF. It Ordained by the Board of
Supervisors In and For the
County oY Hawafi.
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful
for any person or persons to carry
firearm or firearms without fire[ ob-
taining a permit so to do from the
Sherid oP the County of Hawaii; or
any oY his deputies.
SECTION 2. It shall be the duty
oY the Sheriff of the County oY Ha-
waii; or any oP hie deputies, to Issue
permit to any person or persons
applying for same only upon being
satisfied ae to the ability, capability,
reliability and trustworthiness of the
applicant to handle such firearm.
SECTION 3. Any person or per-
sons violating the provisions oY this
Ordinance shall upon convletion
thereof be punished by a fine oY not
leas than $25.00 nor more than
$26.00.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall
take effect thirty days Yrom and
after the date o[ its approval.
