HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1920-089__. . ~~ Ordinance No. 89 TO amend paragraphs 4, Rand 9 of section ]2, chapter 11, entitled "Rules of Slapping in Roadway;' of Ordinance numbered 87, of the Board of Supervisors of the Coun- ty of Hawaii., Territory of Hawaii, relating to regulating moving travel and tratBc upon streets and other public places in the County of Ha- waii, and providing penalties and remedies for violators thereof, and repealing Ordinance numbered 62. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: Section 1. Paragraphs Four and Six of Section 12, Chapter II, en- titled "Rule of Stopping in Roadway" of Ordinance numbered 87, are here- by repealed. Section 2. Paragraph Nine of Section 12, Chapter II, entitled "Rule of Stopping in Roadway" of Ordi- nance numbered 87, is hereby amend- ed to read as follows: No person riding, driving, operat- ing or in charge of any vehicle on any other portion of the congested district, shall stop, stand or park such vehicle along the side of the curb, but shall stop, stand or park such vehicle in the macadam center portions of the streets in the con- gested Traffic District. Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect from and after the date of its approval. Introduced by: (S) EIIOENE H. LYMAN, Supervisor from the First Represen- tative District.
