AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO
CHILDREN UNDER SIX (6)
YEARS OF AOE IN PUBLIC
STREETS AND PROVIllING PEN-
ALTIES FOR VIOLATION THERE-

Be it ordained by the Board of Sup-
ervisors oY the Couaty of Hawaii:
SECTION 1. No child under the
age of six (6) years shall be permit-
ted to go or remain on aoy public
street or highway in the County of
Hawaii, eacept it do so in the com-
pany of tte parent, guardian or an
adult person.
SECTION 2. Any Darent or guar-
dian, having the care, custody and
control oY a ohtld under the age oY
six (8) years, who shall knowingly,
voluntarily or carelessly suffer or per-
mit such child to goOr remain on any
public street or htghway in the Coun-
ty of Hawaii, unaccompanied by an
adult person, shall be Buniahed by a
fine oY not less than flue dollars and
not more than One Hundred Dollars.
SECTION 3. Thle Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force 10 days
from and after the date of its ap-
proval.
