BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD
OF` ST7PF,RVISORS ON` THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII.
SECTION 1: No person, firm or
corporation shall hereafter estab-
lish, maintain or operate within
the limits of the City of Hilo any
private hospital or sanitarium with-
in a distance of 1000 feet Prom any
private dwelling house.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall
not affect the maintenance or oper-
ation of any hospital or Sanitarium
which was in operation and being
maintained in the City of Hilo on
Febntary 6th, 1928.
SECTION 3: Any person, firm or
corporation whe nr which shall vio-
late the provisions of this ordinance
shall, npou conviction, be punished
by a fine of not more khan $200.00.
SESCTION 4: The continuance
of any such violation after auy
such conviction shall be deemed a
new offense for each day on which
the same is continued and punish-
able as provided i^ Section i here-
of.
SECTION 5: This ordinance shall
take effect nn its publication.
