ORDINANCE NO. 116
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND PA-
RAGRAPH (a) of Section 17 of
Article IV of Ordinance 109, by
adding a new phrase or proviso
thereto, regulating TralTic upon
the pnblio streets and highways
of the County of HawaiL
BE IT ORDAINED by the Board
of Supervisors of the County of
Hawaii:
Section 1. Paragraph (a) of Sec-
tion 17 of Article IV of Ordinance
104 of the County of Hawaii is
hereby amended by striking out the
period C) at the end of said para-
graph and inserting in lieu thereof
a semi-colon (;i, and adding
to said paragraph the following,
.-"and it is S~.a~ihr: pxrociacel, tl.at
the operator of any vehicle shall
come to,a stop and yi:~:d the right-
of-way to any blind person in case
such person, when crossinU any
street or roadway, shall carry a
white cane and contiarally blows a
whistle similar to the type cp whis-
tle carried and used by a police or
traffB- officer:'
Section 2. This ordinan^e shall
take effect upon is approval.
