ORDINANCE NO. 156
AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND
F3TABLISHING FIRE ZONES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN
AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There shall be the
following Fire Zones: One, Two
and three, in the County of Hawaii.
SECTION 2. Fire Zone No. 1.
Fire Zone No. 1 shall contain all
of the area bounded by:
1. The Puueo side of Waianuenue
Street, from the mauka side of
Keawe Street to the makai side
of Kinoole Street;
2. T'he makai side of Kinoa'e
Street and its extension, from the
Puueo side of Waianuenue Street
to the Olaa bank of the Wailuku
River;
3. The Olaa bank of the Wailuku
River, from the extension of the
makai side of Kinoole Street to
the extension oY the mauka side
of Keawe Street;
4. The mauka side of Keawe
Street, from the Olaa bank of the
Wailuku River to the Puueo side
of Waianuenue Street.
SECTION 3. Fire Zone No. 2.
Fire Zone No. 2 shall contain all
of the area bounded by:
1. Aline 125 feet mauka of the
mauka side of Kinoole Street and
its extension and parallel to Kino-
ole Street from a point 125 feet
Puna of the Puna side of Pona-
hawai Street to the Olaa bank of
the Wailuku River;
2. The Olaa bank of the Wailuku
River, from the extension of a
Tine 125 feet Puna of the Puna
side of Kinoole Street and paral-
lel to Kinoole Street to the ex-
tension of the makai side of Kino-
ole Street;
3. The makai side of Kinoole
Street and its extension, from the
Olaa bank of the Wailuku River
to the Puueo side of Waianuenue
Street;
4. The Puueo side of Waianue-
nue Street, from the makai side
of Kinoole Street to the mauka
side of Keawe Street;
5. The mauka side oY Keawe
Street and its extension, from
the Puueo side of Waianuenue
Street to the Olaa bank of the
Wailuku River;
6. The Olaa bank of the Wailuku
River and the seashore, from the
extension of the mauka side oY
Keawe Street to the extension of a
line 125 feet Puna of of the Puna
side of Ponahawai Street and
parallel 'to Ponahawai Street;
7. Aline 125 feet Puna of the
Puna side of Ponahawai Street
and parallel to Ponahawai Street
and its extension, from the sea-
shore to a point 125 feet mauka
of the mauka side of Kinoole
Street.
SECTION 4. Fire Zone No. 3.
Fire Zone No. 3 shall contain all
01 the area or territory not in-
cluded and contained in Fire Zone
No. 1 and Fue Zone No. 2.
SECTION 5. Effective Date.
This Ordinance shall take effect
upon its approval.

Board of Supervisors of the County
of Hawaii held at the County Seat
upon the 3rd day oY July, A. D.
1946, and upon being put to vote
said Ordinance was adopted by a
majority of the Supervisor at said
meeting.
