Ordinance No. 160
A ZONING ORDINANCE AMEDID-
ING SECTIONS 1 AND 9 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 151 BY ADD-
ING THERETO SECTIONS 1-A
AND 9-A RESPECTIVELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN
AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION 1. A new section, to be
numbered Section 1-A, is hereby
aided to follow Section 1 of Ordi-
nance No. 151, and the same shall
read as follows:
"Section 1-A. Business Zone
I-A. Business Zone I-A shall con-
tain all of the area bounded by:
1. Aline 125 feet mauka of
of Ghe mauka side oY Ki-
noole Street and its ex-
tension, and parallel to
Kinoole Street from the
Olaa side of Watanuenue
Street to the Olaa bank of
the Wailuku River;
2. The Olaa bank of the Wai-
luku River from the ex-
tension of s line 125 feet
mauka of the mauka side
of Kinoole Street and
parallel to Kinoole Street
to the extension of the
makai side cf Keawe
Street;
3. The extension of the ma-
kai side of Keawe Street
and the makai side of
Keawe Street from the
Olaa bank of the Wailulci
River to the Olaa side of
Waianuenue Street;
4. The Olaa ;ide oY Waianue-
nue Street from the makai
wide of Reawe Street to
a point 125 feet mauka of
thee mauka side if Kino-
ole Street:'
SECTION 2. A new section, to ~•~
numbmed Section 9-A, is hereby
added to follow Section 9 of Or-
dinance No. 151, and bhe same
shall read as follows:
"Section 9-A. Hotel and Apart-
ment Zone I-A shall contain all
of the area bounded by:
1. The Olaa side of Waia-
nuenue Street fmm a point
125 feet mauka oP the
mauka side of Kinoole
Street to an extension of
the makai side of Kaiula-
nf Street;
2. An extension of the mz-
kai side of Kaiulani Street
Street and the makai side
of Kaiulani Street from
the 01aa side of Waianae-
nue Street to the Olaa ,
bank of the Wailuku River;
3. ZRte Olaa bank of the Wa!-
luku Rivet from the makai
side of Kaiulani Street to
an extension oY a line 125
feet mauka of the mauka
side of Kinoole Street and
parallel to Kinoole Street;
4. An extension of a line and
a line 125 feet mauka of
T,he mauka side of Kinoole
Street and parallel to Ki-
noole Street from the Olaa
bank of the Wailuku River
to the Olaa side of- Waia-
nuenue Street"
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This
ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval.

day of August, A. D. 1946.
