ORDINANCE NO. 181
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING )R-
DINANCE NO. 151 BY ADDING
THERETO A SAFETY ZONE I.
BE IT ORDAINID 'BY THE
'BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN
AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
SECTION ~. The first paragraph,
imemdiately PreoedlAg Seotionl of
Ordinance No. 151 of the County
of Hawaii, is hereby amended by
adding thereto a new zone and the
same shall read as follows:
"In the City of Hilo there
shall be the following zones:
1. Business Zone.
2. Idght Industrial Zone.
3. Industrial Zone
4. Noxious Industrial Zone
5. Hotel and Apartment
Zone
8. Residential Zone A
7. Residential Zone B
8. Residential Zone C
9. Residentfal Zone D
10. Agricultural Zone One
11. Agricultural Zone Two
12. Safoty Zone One"
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 151
is hereby amended by adding
thereto a new section to be num-
bered 25-A and to read as follows:
"Section 25-A. Safety Zone I.
The 6afety Zone I shall con-
tain all of the area bounded
by:
1. The makai side of Kame-
hameha Avenue from the
Olaa bank of the Wailuku
River to the intersection of
said makai side of Kame-
hameha Avenue and the
Puueo bank of the Wafloa
River;
2. Along the Puveo bank of
the Wailoa River to the
mouth of the Wailoa Rive^;
3. Along the bay shore from
the mouth of the Walloa
River to the mouth of the
Walluku River;
4. Along the Olas bank oY
the Walluku River from
the mouth of the river to
the point of beginning."
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall
take effect and be Sn force Yrom
and after the date of its passage.
Dahed at Hilo, Hawa41, this 9th
day of August, 1938.
