Section 1. All charges ur complaints in Impeachment Matters ~"
under and by virtue of Chapter 13 of the County Act, shall furthor
contain, heside the general charge of "malfeasance or maladminis-
tration in office" as specifio as possible under the circumstances,
the nature of the charges or complaints, the date,--the instances
or parties involved therein and to be in such a way as to give the
officer sought to be impeached fail opportunity to intelligently r
meet the ^harges. '
Section ~. The complaint or charge ~.vill then be sent to or ~
filed with the County Clerk, roviiose duty will then be to place it on
file and to present sama at the ensuing meatin~; of the Board of
Supervisors, County of Hawaii.
Section 3. 'Ihe County Clerk ~aill Bien make a copy of said
complaint or char~,e and deliver same to the County Attorney, whose
duty will then be to inquire as to the truth of the charges, whether
or not the charges are as by law provided, ur of such legal status
as to be proper for the Board of Supervisors to consider, and to do
any and all things. ha may deem fit and proper so that it may be
properly presented to and legally taken up by the Board of Super-
visors, County of Hawaii.
Section 4. The County Attorney is to presart anu to conduct
the said Impeachmart n?attar before tl:e Board of Impeachment to its
completion.
Section 5. The County Attorney or the officer sought to be
impeached may present the nerves ul those person or parsons whom they
W~oh or desire to appear bafo're the Board of Icapeachmeilt in raid
matter on their beheli, to ti,a County Clerk or to the Chairmen of the, ?
