ORDINANCE N0. 15
AN ORDINANCE 'TO PR07'EC'T PUBLIC GROUNDS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ;,'UI'~~ttVISOR:; OF THE COUNTY OF HAVrAIl:
Section 1. That it shall be the duty of the sheriff of the
County of Hawaii to protect lawns, gardens, grass plots end other
cultivated grounds belonging to the Territory of Hawaii or the
County oi' Hawaii within t;ize said County, and of all such lawns,
gardens, grass plots and other cultivated grounds of a public
nature within said County, and to place or cause to be placed on
such places, signs and notices warning perGons Y.o keep off such
places.
Section 2. Any person who sha7.1 trespass or walk on or over
any such lawns, garden, grass plot or other cultivated around, on
wl~ch theta sP,all be any such sign or notice shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined in s sum not less
than Two Dollars and Fifty Cents 02.50) and not more than Twenty-
Five Dollars 0 25.00), in the discretion of the Di.stricl; Magistrate
or. other fudge having ~uriadiction of the cause.
