ORDINANCE N0. 16
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ROAMING: OR GRAZING OF HORSES, MULES,
C9TTLE, DONKEYS, SWINE, SHEEP AND GOATS UPON PUBLIC PLACES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ROe~1tD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any person to
knowingly allow any horse, mule, cattle, donkey, swine, sheep
or goat belonging to him or directly or indirectly under his
control to roam or graze in or upon any public str®et, road,
lane or alley, or in or upon any public street, road, lane or
all.ev, or in or upon any public lands in the County of Hawaii.
Section 1. That it shall be the duty of the Sheriff of
the County of Hawaii, his Deputy and all Police Officers to
cause the arrest of any and a.ll persons violating the provisions
of Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3. Any pex•son or persons who ahal.l violate the
provisions of Section 1 of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a
misdemeanor and upon convi.etion thereof shall be fined not more
than Ten 010.00) Dolle.rs for the first offense and not less
than Ten 010.00) Dollars and not more than One Hundred. ($100.00)
Dollars for each subsequent oi'fense.
