BE IT ORDAINID BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORFi OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: Section 1. Moving Pictur® Shows and Legitimate Stage Play "'~ri Productions, Application and Permit. ~, Moving Pictures may be exhibited on Sundays after the hour r" of 12:30 P.M, and Legitimate Stage Play Producti®ns after i;30 P.M. .a aub,ject to the provisions of this Ordinance. Any person--which term shall include partnerships, corporations, and associations-- having first paid the requisite license fee prescribed under Section 2505 of the Revised. Laws oP Hawaii, 1935, or any other law which may hereafter be enacted, and desiring to ezhibjMt to the public in the County of Hawaii on Sunday, after the Hours hereinafter set forth, moving pictures or legitimate stage play productions, shall make application for a permit to the Treasurer of the County of Hawaii as hereinafter provided. Said application shall be in writing and shall sat forth the name and addre:,s of the applicant for a permit, the occupation or business of the applicant, the locati®n and character of the building in which he proposes to exhibit such moving pictures or legitimate stage play productions, and the day or days and hour set for their exhibition. The said application shall be accom- panied by an affidavit sworn to by the applicant, which affidavit shall state the names and characters of the pictures or produc- tions proposed to be exhibited, that efY'iant has personally seen the said proposed pictures or productions and that they ere in ao sense vulgar, obscene, indecent, sug;~estive or improper. ,. ~... ._ ;,,,., Upon the filing of said applicati.er. end affidavit as required by this Ordi.nanca, 1t shall be the duty of the Treasurer of the County of Hawaii, to issue a permit to the applicant for the exhibi- tion of the said pictures or legitimate stage play productions for the Sundays or Sunday designated in said application, and the names of the pictures or productions to be exhibited shall be set forth i.n said permit and the day or dag*s and the hour et whioh they. are to be shown shall likewise be set forth. Section 2. All Ordinances in co nflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed. ~• ~_ _.
