Section 1. Section 48 of Ordinance IQo. ly of the County
of Hawaii is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 40. Lights on Perked Vehicles. uuhenever
e vehicle is parked or stopped on a street during the
time betwean one-half hour after sunset and one-half
hour before sunrise, there shall be displayed upon
the rear thereof a red light visible not less than
two lxundred feet from the rear thereof; provided, however,
that no lit,hts need be displayed upon any such vehicle
when stopped or parked in accordance with the provisions
of this Ordinance where there is sufficient light to
reveal any pereon or vehicle from a distance of at least
two hundred feet upon such highway."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval.
