ORDINANCE NOW,
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 21, -AS AMENDED,
RELATING TO THE RENT CONTROL, C OMMI S SI ON ,
.BE IT O RDA INED BY THE BOARD OF SUPE R VI S O Ids OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII
Section 1.. Section 2 of Ordinance 21, Revised
Ordinances of Hawaii, 1947,, is amended by deleting the
second paragraph thereof and inserting in lieu thereof
the following
"The Chairman and Executive Officer of the
County of Hawaii, with the approval of the Board
Df Supervisors of said Count yi shall appo int an
"administrator of rent control, who shall act as
executive secretary for the commission and who
shall performs the duties and exercise the powers
imposed upon hi.m, by this Ord:Lnan ce . The commission
shall, have the power to employ such clerks,
stenographers and other assistants as may be
.required and for which appropriations shall be
made by the Board,,"
Section 2. This Ordinance shall tape effect upon..
its approval*
