ORDINANCE N0. 9 ~,
ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 59, AS APPENDED, OF THE RE VISED
ORDINANCES OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1947 ESTABLISHING
TRANSPORTATION CONTROL COMMITTEE FOR THE CITY OF HILO AND
FOR THE REGULATION OF COMMON CARRIERS OF PASSENGERS IN
THE CITY OF HILO, COUN'PY OF HAWAII.
BE I'P ORDAINED BY 'PRE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII:
Section I. Section 1 of Ordinance 59 of the Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1947 is 'hereby amerxled
by deleting the second paragraph reading ea follows:
"'City of Hilo means that area with boundaries
as defined by Section 6351, Revised Laws of Hawaii
1945".
Section 2. Section 4 of Ordinance 59 of the Revised
Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 1947 is hereby amended
to read as follows:
"Section 4. Functions of Committee, 'Phe
Committee shall have the general supervision
hereinafter set forth over all common carriers of
passengers operating upon and using the public
highways of the County of Hawaii, and sha 11 perform
the duties and exercise the powers imposed or
conferred upon it by this Ordinance".
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon
