Subsection E, Section 9 of Ordinance No. 58, as amended by Ordinance No. 85, is hereby further amended by deleting subsection E, and inserting therein the following: "E. Lot sizes and minimum lot widths. 1. Lot sizes: No lot shall be subdivided or no building permit shall be issued to angone to construct a single family dwelling, duplex dwelling, apartment house, lodging house or hotel on ar~v lot within a business, light industry, or indus- trial district within the city of Hilo having an area of less than 5,000 square feet per unit; nor shall said per- mit be issued to anyone to construct a single family dwelling, duplex dwelling, apartment house, lodging house or hotel on anp lot in any of the aforesaid districts where there is already located thereon a building or structure, the lot sizes for each unit to be not less than 5,000 square feat. The minimiaa lot size for subdivisions in any area outside the city of Hilo for residential and agriculture uses shall be 7,500 square feet. 2. 1Sinimum lot width: The minimum lot width for all lots in anq future subdivi- sion shall be as follows: 50 feet for lot sizes from 5,000 to 7,499 square feat, except for business, light industrial, and general in- dustrial uses; 60 feet for lot sizes from 7,500 to 9,999 square feet; 70 feat for lot sizes 10,000 square feet and over." Section 2. Subsection A, Section 9 of Ordinance No. 58, pertain- ing to pavement of streets is hereby amended by deleting Paragraphs 7 and 8 and inserting the following: "A. Streets. ,. £ ~~ ~ .,.. ~ u.....---_....._-------- 7. Pavement of streets within the city of Hilo: Streets and roads hereafter constructed within the city of Hilo shall have an approved six (b) inch base course and three (3) inch penetration pavement or two (2) inch asphalt concrete pavement. 8. Pavement of streets outside the city of Hilo: Streets and roads hereafter constructed outside the city of Hilo may be constructed of crushed rock or cinders of six (b) inch base course, and with approved oil treated surface with drain- age provisions suitable to the district."
