AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 51 OF ORDINANCE N0. 89
OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 1950 PERTAINING TO THE REGU-
LATION OF TRAFFIC UPON THE PUBLIC STREETS AND HIQi-
WAYS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAiYAII
Section 1. Section 51 of Ordinance No, $9 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"Section 51. One-way streets. Upon the following named
streets and parts of streets, or portions thereof, vehicular
traffic shall move only in the indicated direction when
signs indicating the direction of traffic are Dratted and
maintained at every intersection where movement in the op-
posite direction is prohibited.
(a) FURNEAUX STREF,T. All vehicular traffic shall
move only from makai to mauka between Kamehameha Avenue
and the makai line of Kilauea Street.
(b) HAILI STREET. All vehicular traffic shall move
only from makai to mauka between Kamehameha Avenue and
Halai Street, between tie hours of 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 a.m.
on school days.
(c) HALAL STREET. All vehicular traffic shall move
only from Puna to Hamakua, between Haiti Street and
Waianuenue Street, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and
8:15 a.m. on school days.
d~_ KILAUEA STREET. All vehicular traffic shall
move r Hamakua to Puna between Haili Street and Keavre
Street.
(e) KUKUAU STREET, kll vehicular traffic shall move
only from makai to mauka between Kilauea Street and Ululani
Street.
(f) MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY. All vehicular traffic shall
move only from Hamakua to Puna between the Old Volcano
Road leading to the Tuberculosis Rehabilitation Canter
and FAP F 2(3) (Kanoelehua Street Extension).
(g) NAWAHI LANE. All vehicular traffic shall move

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect upon its approval.
