AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 58 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII 19k7, AS AMENDED, PERTAIMNG TO THE REGULATION OF THE
SUBDIVISION OF REAL ESTATE IN THE COUNTY OF HAWAII.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII:
Section 1. Paragraph 1, Subsection E, Section 9 of Ordinance No.
58 of the Revised Ordinances of the County of Hawaii 19b7, as amended
by Ordinance No. 94, is hereby further amended to read as follows:
"E. Lot sizes and minimum lot widths.
1. Lot sizes:
No lot shall be subdivided for purposes of construct-
ing asingle family dwelling, duplex dwelling, apart-
ment house, lodging house or hotel on any lot within
a business, light industry, or industrial district
having an area of less than 5,000 square feet of lot
area for each of the above-mentioned atructuras.
The minimum lot size of subdivisions in any area out-
side the city of Hilo for residential and agricul-
tural uses shall be 7,500 square feet. There may
be one or more single family dwelling, duplex dwell-
ing, apartment house, lodging house or hotel on any
lot having an area of fifteen thousand square Peet
or more. There shall not be less than seventy-five
hundred square feet of lot area for each of the above-
mentioned structures."
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect/~upon its approval.
