ORDINANCE N0. /09
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING CERTAIN ACTIVITIES ON BRIDGES OR
OTHER ELEVATED STRUCTURES AND PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE
VIOLATION THEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS IN AND FOR THE
COUNTY OF HAPJAII:
SECTION 1. Prohibition. It shall be unlawful for
any person (a) to play on, (b) to fish or crab from, or
(c) to swim or dive off any portion of any bridge or other
elevated structure constituting a part of a-highway where
proper signs are posted.
SECTION 2. Penalties. Any person convicted of a
violation of the foregoing prohibition shall be punished by
a fine not exceeding ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS or by imprisonment
for not more than 60 days, or by both such fine and
imprisonment.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon
its approval.
